I don't know a rar file password, but i recover the password

i recently downloaded a Media file using Bittorrent but in the next session i noticed that the file requires a password and there is a small text file attached with the download with instructions on how to get the password. but the instructions are very vague and they seem more likely to be a sudoku puzzle!!!!!.
